Alter Krug in Dahlem
The Bird –  Prenzlauer Berg and serves the best burgers and steaks you have ever had…..Need to make a reservation though!
Dae Mon at Bar Tausend. The food is Asian / South American fusion-ish. It is very Berlin Entrance situated under the Friedrichstraße U-Bahn bridge is unassuming, no sign just a buzzer. Inside is a gorgeous bar and restaurant. Go for a late seating and stay for the music.

Trendy vegetarian restaurant – great to go with visitors. It’s in an alley way behind the Komisher Oper.

This is a Prussian restaurant, hearty food but very nicely done. It’s a family affair. Cozy interior has a warm ambiance and they are good with international guests. Highly suggest reservations.

Trendy restaurant on top of the 25 Hours Hotel next to Bikini Berlin. Beautiful views, exotic combination of Persian, Russian, Arabic, Moroccan, Isreali, Turkish, Spanish, German and Austrian influences in their food, make sure you stop by the Monkey Bar on the same floor as the restaurant.  Need reservation.

Schöneberger Weltlaterne..a hoot when owner sings Berliner chansons as the evening progresses
Studio Tim Rauehttp://www.factoryberlin.com/studio/this is the casual restaurant from chef Tim Raue (he has several Michelin Star restaurants).  For dinner, menus start at 58€ for 3 courses to 108€ for 10 courses. Excellent gourmet in a casual setting.
