Education Awards
The FAWCO Foundation Education Awards Program was created by and for FAWCO and FAUSA members. The cornerstones of the program are the importance of fostering peace through knowledge and the belief that education is essential to developing peace-loving attitudes in children. The Program rewards and honors academic excellence and the all-around achievements of our members and their families.
Development Grants
The FAWCO Foundation Development Grants financially assist projects which are passionately supported by FAWCO Member Clubs and FAUSA. The purpose of the program is to fund projects that can make an immediate impact and lead to success for the people they support. The assistance offered should be direct, with a goal of sustainability.
Target Project
The Target Project offers opportunities for local FAWCO Clubs to make a global difference. Target Programs have the overarching goal of improving the lives of women and girls. The FAWCO Board, in consultation with The FAWCO Foundation Board, chooses Target Issues on a revolving basis through our four areas of interest: Education, Environment, Health and Human Rights.

Youth Program
The FAWCO Youth Program was launched in 2013 at the Biennial Conference in Bern with the mission to promote cultural understanding and raise awareness of global issues in our youth and help them develop into responsible and caring global citizens. Additionally, under UN Issues there is an ongoing module where children of FAWCO members participate in UN Conferences and activities. If you’d like to get involved with FAWCO’s Youth Program, contact fawcoyouth@fawco.org.
UN Advocacy
FAWCO is a United Nations accredited non-governmental organization (NGO) with special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). FAWCO’s representatives in New York, Geneva, Vienna, Athens, Bonn and other cities attend UN meetings on behalf of FAWCO, focusing on issues related to women and children in FAWCO’s priority areas: education, environment, health and human rights.

FAWCO Meetings and Publications
FAWCO holds its Annual General Meeting every year in March in a different city around the world. These gatherings are a highlight for FAWCO member clubs, allowing time to learn about the different FAWCO activities, training in organizational development and leadership, networking, and more.
FAWCO publishes a magazine, Inspiring Women, quarterly and several newsletters including Newsletter in Brief, and Global Issues Digest. FAWCO Members can keep informed and stay up to date with FAWCO’s committees, teams and Board of Directors.
