Lissa Rosenbloom, Philanthropy Chair, philanthropy@awcberlin.org

Lissa Rosenbloom is a long time resident of Berlin, having moved here From Oakland, California in 1999. She is active in many capacities with the Club having served on boards in the past, is a volunteer for refugee services, and an English teacher. In her previous life she worked in the non-profit world in California, consulting with many organization such as the San Francisco Aids Foundation, Human Rights Watch, Environmental Defense Fund, and political campaigns. She is also an visual artist, with a BFA from the University or North Carolina.

Locally, AWC Berlin supports a Berlin-based charity organization benefiting women and children. The organizations are nominated by the membership, vetted by the Philanthropy Chair and the Board of Directors, and voted by the membership at the Annual General Meeting.  In 2019-2020, we supported JACK Berlin.  In addition, we have had a long term relationship with the Ronald McDonald House Wedding and supports
