Mindfulness 101: The Basics

We live in an age where we know more than ever about how to cultivate our own happiness, and yet so many of us are still searching for ways to make life more meaningful, more joyful, more full of living. With so much in the media about mindfulness, how do we sort out through all of the noise and have a better understanding of what mindfulness and meditation are all about?
This short introduction to mindfulness can give you a good overview of the basics, give you a safe space to ask questions, sample a meditation (or two) and get you started in the right direction for a regular practice in the new year if you’re interested.
All AWC members welcome regardless of mindfulness or meditation experience.
