Evening Women’s Salon – Dance of Rock and Life
March 28 @ 19:00 - 21:00
Women’s Salons are an opportunity to hear about and discuss the work or expertise of a woman in our community in an intimate setting. The events include a potluck meal. This month we are honored to have Olivia Judson as our guest.
“Dance of Rock and Life”
In this informal talk, evolutionary biologist and writer Olivia Judson will show how, over the course of its 4.567 billion year history, this planet has been transformed by life into an utterly different world. She will also provide a way to think about those changes–and what they might mean for the future, and for life of other worlds.
Limit: 20 members
Cost: free, but please bring food to share. Drinks will be provided.
Location: Janet’s address will be emailed to participants before the event
